Re: Guisti Complaint
Councilman Carroll reported he had investigated the matter of the promiscuous dumping
of garbage oy various persons in the vicinity of the Guisti home, near what is commonly
known as "North Beach" and recommended that the premises now made unsightly by garbage
placed thereon, could be cleaned by the use of a bulldozer or grader with the aid of a
couple of men, and recommended that there then be a log barricade placed some few feet
from the edge of the bank with a fence in conjunction for protection of persons. He
stated that Mr. Gdisti would, at such time as this place was cleaned up, report further
violations either as to person or license number of car, in order that proper action
might be taken by the City. This matter was referred to the Street Committee with full

Hon. Mayor and City Council
City
Gentlemen:
We respectfully ask your consideration of Street light installment at inter-
section of Pierce and Van Ness Streets. This corner is kind of a bottled neck and is
not lighted at the present time, making it dangerous in the heavy traffic incidents to
night school programs.
Respectfully submitted,
Geo. Welch/jw Geo. Welch, Chairman
