Ins. .. 6.88 Total $447.30 Bills Allowed It was moved by Councilman Lammers, and seconded by Councilman Maroldo, that the foregoing bills be allowed and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to issue warrants upon the proper funds 1n payment thereof. Upon Roll Call vote, all six Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and the motion was declared carried. REPORTS OF OFFICERS City Cleric The City Clerk reported that in a conversation with Mr. Armstrong, Resident Engineer of the State Highway Department, it had been determined that the sum of $20.00 per month was acceptable to the State highway Department, as rental for offices upon the second floor of the City Hall Building, and that a voucher had been prepared for presentation to the State covering rental for the period of January 15th to February 28th, 1941. Chief of Police The monthly report of the chief of Police for the month of January, 1941, showing arrests and disposition of cases, was read and ordered filed. REPORTS OF COL:L:ITTEES Finance committee ' The report of the Committee on Finance and Claims, to whom was referred the matter of the Treasurer's report for the month cf December, 1940, was read and ordered filed. Dater and Drainage Committee The report of the Committee on Plater and Drainage, to woom eras referred the matter of the Plater Superintendent's report for the month of December, 1940, was read and ordered filed. It is requested that the City Council take such action as may be necessary to remove the gravel and pipe from the lots ownad by the Port Townsend Salmon Club, Inc. These lots are located at the foot of Monroe Street and at the last meeting of the Club, held 'Tuesday, January 21, 1941, it eras decided to improve the property. The members of the Salmon Club will appreciate your realy attention in connection with this request so that the material in question will be removed within a short time.
