Dear Sir:
I would like to ask that you investigate the need of school zone signs and intersection
mar:cers at the corner of 'IF" and Fir Streets.
Th..re are no school signs at tt,is corner and there are a great many children, especially
small ones, that -0 through this crossing.
This happens to t,e a blind corn^r nrd drivers are very lax about stoppin at the stop
sign,a great many not even slowing down.
There is no School Soy Patrol provided for the smaller children at 11:30 and 3 P.M., and
when they are there for the benefit of the larger children, their attention is sometimes
taken up in conversations with other children, and the children get by as best they can.
I feel that the School Boy Patrol should be supported by these zone markers at this
corner, as is the case on the other crossings close to the school.
Yours truly,
Leonard G. Barrett
