A requisition by the Police Dept. for a siren for the Police Car, at an estimated st of not to exceed w 35.00, was read; and upon motion of Councilman Maroldo, seconded Councilman Sullivan, and passed by voice vote, the requisition visa granted. ORDINANCES AI:D RESOLUTIONS. City Attorney Daly stated that he had received a personal request from a rep- sentative of the State Liquor Control Board that the City of Port 'Townsend go on record th the Board, by means of a Resolution, as not being 1n frlvor of the issuing of any censes, by the State, for the sale of beer of urine within the City of Port Townsend, in dition to those now in effect. It was moved by Councilman Maroldo, and seconded by Councilman Sullivan that the ty Attorney be instructed to dray up such a resolution to be presented at the next gular session of the council. L. Hirtzler presiding. 7; ROLL CALL Officers and members ansrering present to Roll Call were as follows: Mayor H. L. Hirtzler; City Attorney W. J. Daly; City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilmen Hobt. W. Brown; William Lammers, Sr.; Dennis Sullivan; Fred G. Lewis, and J. F. Maroldo. i MINUTES OF PEVIOUS SESSION It visa moved by Councilman Robt. Brown and seconded by Councilman Sullivan, that the es3 minutes of the previous session be approved as written. Motion carried. 1=: REPORTS OF OFFICERS City Treasurer The monthly report of the City 'Treasurer for the month of August, 1940, was read and referred to the Finance Oommittee. !later Superintendent - The monthly report of the Water Superintendent for the month of August, 1940, was read and referred to the Water Committee. The report of the Water Superintendent showing the flow of water thru main line meters j� for the thirteen day period ending September 16, 1940, was read and ordered filed.
