The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington met in regular session this lst day of

February 1966, at 7:30 P.M. in the council chambers of the City Hall. Mayor Sullivan presiding.

Officers and members present were as follows: Mayor Sullivan, City Attorney Abraham, Deputy City
Clerk Norwood, Councilmen Hoglund, Judy, huby, Siebenbaum, Lindsey and Carter.

The minutes of the previous session were read in full and it was moved by Councilman Lindsey and

seconded by Councilman Ruby that the minutes be approved as read and that the Mayor and City Clerk sign

Section 2. In the event that the portion of street hereby vacated is not improved as a portion of new

shall be at an end and the portion of street hereinabove mentioned shall revert to the C r ie of Port Townsend

Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect when the cost of publication is paid by petitioner, and
upon its passage, approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.

and the Planning Commission's sub -committees recommendations for general planning goals and standard will
be accepted for consideration.
The meeting will open with the showing of the film "No Time For Ugliness". This film, Droduced by the
American Institute of Architects, keynoted the Governor's Conference on Design for Washington held in
Seattle last December. - Base mans and planning diagrams will be on display for public viewing.
Port Townsend's narticioation in the Federal 701 program will be explained, as will progress to date on
•,I NFL K r �r•, the program as well as what the community may expect from long-range comprehensive planning.
