' Mayor Sullivan asked the council if the date of May 25th would be agreeable to go on tour fi . of the watersheds. After some discussion it was agreed that clay 25th would be the best date for most of the Councilmen. Mayor Sullivan informed the Council that the 7th of May the Port Townsend High School Seniors would take over the official duties in running the city Councilman Ruby suggested study of popential tourist accommodations such as a campsite on some of the unused property that is in town, he thought that it might be arranged tnroug the city park department and referred to an area at Hudson point. Mayor Sullivan appointed !. Councilman Ruby as a committee of one to investigate his suggestion. 4•. Councilman Ruby also sugrostod the subject of house numbers throuejout the city. He was Informed by both the mayor and clerk that tlis matter was already being looked into. Fire Chief Jones reported on his trip to Yakima on the command school he attended and als �. the new fire truck that he had hopes of having in time for the festival but labor trouble had caused a delay and didnt know if the fire truck would be here in time for the festival.
