Copps of Puget Sound & Power & Light Co. said when the VFW wanted the standards for them to 1 contact the Power Co. and they wo.;ld work with them in taking the standards dorm. ' Couhcilman Lindsey brought up the subject of more matching funds for the Special Arn6rial Highway Fund Project, saying they needed another five thousand dollars, after some discussi n' it was suggested to take the mater up in the clerks office. Mayor Protem Siebenbaum urged all department heads to keep a close eye on funds remaining in their budgets, and said the smergonc:,- ordinances would be hard to come by. Mr Copps said that the lights could be raised to n heighth where the kids would not be so accuracte and by putting throe now vapor lights at a cost of 37.87 per year should take cars of the situation. Councilman Judy made a motion seconded by councilman Hoglund that the three new vpor lights be installed in accordance with Mir Copps suggestion. Motion carried. -bit- The Clerk asked permission to sell a surpluns safe that was replace by a now one in the clerics office. Councilman Carter made a motion seconded by Councilman Judy that the safe be declared surplus and the safe sold, notion carried.
