Motion carried. THIRD READING & PASSAGE OF ORD. ISO. 1466 Ord No. 1466 was again read by title only and it was moved by Counciman Lindsey seconded by councilman Siobenbaum that Ord. No. 1466 do now pass. Motion carried. q NE1'l. & OLD BUSINESS . Councilman Siebenbaum reported on he request of Ieir Carroll who asked for a 6" water tap, sayingtlhhb Mr Carroll would run a Hunter line 6" from 19th St to 12th st, install a hydrant, at his ovrn expellee, install the pipe & hydrant under the supervision of the water departmen , the proposition was,accepted by the City. Councilman Siebenbaum also reported on the water problem for the entrance sign saying there would have to be a line run approximately 19OOt k which could not be done, he said that if they would use seekers once a week it should be enough. lie also reported on the request for 234 stop signs by the Chief of Police, the signs would cost around 10. each, the money was not available, the signs would have to be put in when time and money visa availublo. Councilman Siebenbaum said he did not like the seating arrangment of the councilmans chairs and made a motion seconded by Counc lmnn Carter that the seating arrangement be changed back to their orignal positions. motion carried. Councilman Carter made a motion seconded by Councilman Siobenbaum that the man responsible for the change in the first place be =nudo to to change the seating back to their original positions. Motion carried. I3a;,or Sullivan commented on the watering at the entrance sign, saying that the women who had boon taking care of the grounds vrould not go out and water at night anymore, after some discussion it was again turned over to the w::tor committee. Councilman Lindsey reported on the request to have a narking meter in front of 1010 ':later Street removed. lie said that there was no other entrance to the building and that the meter would have to be removed and a loading zone established but felt that the city visa losding money by removing motors and granting loading zones. Councilman Siobenbaum suggeste that a study be made on hour much each motor is taking; in and when there is a roquent for � - a loading zone and if granted then a charge be made by the month. After some discussion i:iayor Sullivan Referred and asked the street committee to make a study on how much each motor is bringing in, and to establish a monthly fee for loading zones. e Acceptance of 1965 Dump Truck The bids on a 1965 dump truck that was hold over from the last regular session was again brought up for accepting or rejecting the low bid of Olympic Garage. Councilman Lindsey reported that he had talked to Mr. Johnson and asked him if he visa an authorized dealer and also if he had a full time mechanic, he was told that he was an authorized dealer and that he had a mechanic there most of the time and could always have one there when needed. Councilman Siebenbaum said that he was told that he wns not an authorized dealer. Councilman Judy made a motion seconded by Councilman Lindsey that the low bid of Olympic garage for a 1965 dump truck bn accepted. Motion carried.
