City Attorney Abraham informed the council that the resolution was to authorize the !Mayo to sign the application for the sewer study and also visa authorized to make application for federal none. I; El 7 7 • LI PASSAGE OF ORDINANCE 110. 1458 Ordinance No. 1458 duly incorporated in the minutes of August 18, 1964 was again brought before the eounc'.1 for passage or rejection. It was moved by Councilman Lindsey seconded by Councilman Hoglund that the first reading be considered the second reading and the tnird reading be by title only. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 1458 was again read by title onl and it was moved by Councilman Lindsey seconded by Councilman Thomas that Ord. No. 1458 do now pass. Motion carried. ! City Attorney Abraham said he planned to go to Olympia next creek and see if we could possibly work out some suitable arrangement for payment, the clerk had asked him if he shou _ draw a warrant for payment and had advised the clerk not to. Councilman Thomas said he had a meeting with Mr Grim of the lst National Bank in regards - to the financing of the fire truck. Mr Grim^: had looked into several different situations and could not come up with anything solid whore they would allow no tax on interest and it was the best they could do was 5% and if the council approved to notify him and he would work with Lin Curtis & Sons along with the City attorney and take care of all necessary arrangements, i. City Attorney Abraham informed the council that the law suit of the antiturst case had been filed. Councilman Siebenbaum reported that Mr Mullins the caretaker of the garbage dump had tol him that a fellow had been to the garbage dump twice to pick brush and Mr Mullins told him that he could not. Councilman Siebenbaum told Mr Mullins that he was right in refusing due to fire and etc. He said he had talked to Sheriff Hanson and was told that the county allo, brush picking. After some discussion Mayor Sullivan said he would contact the county commi sioners. Mayor Sullivan brought up the subject of motorbikes, he had been receiving complaints an wanted to know if something could be done. After some discussion City Attorney Abraham said that under the provisions of existing ordinances dealing with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and etc, that the motorbikes could be effectfively regulated. Councilman Hoglund mentioned that the board walk along side the Elks Club was in hazards condition and should be fixed.
