The bids to be opene January 21 1964. It visa moved by Councilman Steve seconded by Councilman Judy that the clor c he aut�orized to call for bids. Motion carried. NEL7 & OLD BUSINESS - Councilman Siebenbaum ronortod to the :.ayor & Council that the city venter department had rit:,in four days installed the improvecwont district distrubutional line on ;rant street and o@ocatod the city line located on hospital property and commanded Supt. Arcy and his crow ,or ❑ job well done. Councilman Steve said that he had chocked with the City Treasurer and the City eater Supt. n delinquent water accounts and that some measure should be taken to remedy the situntLon. Councilman Lindsey reported on the request of a street lonse of inr. K. Loftus of that )ortion of Kearney Street lying between lYashing ton Street and water Street. its said that ,:r Loftus had agreed on a one year lease at twenty five dollars that would fun from Jon. 1 L964 to Dec. 31 1964. Councilman Lindsey made a motion seconded by Councilman Judy that an )rdinance be prepared to lease that portion of Kearny Street lying bot•aeon Ylns .ington and 'rater street £or a one year period and that Ifr Loftus nay all costs. 1•:otion carried. Councilman Steve said he would like to bring someth:-ng up for a matter of consideration o the City Council which probably wount be looked upon favorably by the tort Commission in the x future but would like to introduce some form of instigati nq procedure to noo;titte acquiring. the fill that is being filled now if and whon it ever is done.
