Mayor Green read a letter tc the Council from the Department of Health on Fluoridation and said that the
letter would be filed in the clerks office and if the water committee would like to look into the matter furthe
the letter would be available.
Fayer Green said that she to would like to add her thanks to Crown Zellerbach for there donation of the trnc
to the Fire Dept. and also her thanks to the Fort Worden Magnostic Center on their help during the recent snwo
fall.
Conncilman Lafferty made a motion seconded by Councilman Steve that the request for a street light at 29th
4 Hendricks be granted. Motion carried.
Mayor Green asked for a report from the special committee on the planning commission. Councilman .Johnson sai(
that. the three members had worked with A?terney Abrham and felt that at this time the Ordinance for a planning
-ommision should be ^resented. The City Clerk read in full the following Planning Con. ission Ordinance.

second reading and the third reading be by title only. Upon roll call vote Councilman Sullivan, Mueller, Steve,
?ohnion voted yae, Councilman Sieb-nbaum, Lafferty voted nae. Motion carried.
Conncilman Vneller said he thought that the councils lame ducks, such as himself, should leave the honor of
,rising An ordinance to the council which will be graced by four new members by early June. He pointed out that
Manning eonnission appointments made by the present conrcil members who would have to work with such individu:
