MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF JANUARY 16, 1962 CONTINUED
From Park Board Secretary - January 16, 1962 - to -wit:
'
To the Honorable Mayor and Council,
Port Townsend, Washington
At the last meeting of the Park Board a letter addressed to our Chairman Mrs. Lee C. Davis, and coming from
the office of the City Clerk on behalf of the Council, was presented to the Board for its attention.
This correspondence pertained to the matter of the parking of trailers on the Park premises. After discussion
the matter, and uncertainty of the position and thought of the Council, the Board Secretary was directed to
request some clarification of Council action. The question is should trailer use of the premises he elimated
entirely or was a time element given consideration, such as daily, weekly, monthly, annualy?
The Board feels that a meeting with the proper Committee of Council might have arrived at a fuller understandi
of the matter. In the meantime Park Board action is held in abeyance.
Very truly,
•
C. J. Fling
Park Board Secretary
Mayor Green asked the Street and License Committee, the City Attorney and herself to meet with the park
board as soon as possible to clear up the above communication.
