Councilman Lindsey spoke on the looks and condition of the area alongside of the highway
by DeLeo Brothers saying thnt it looks as though people have been dumping a little of every
thing there and wondered what could be dune to prevent it. Signs had been posted but Beamed
no one paid any attention to them. Mayor Green snid that she we ld look into the matter.
ADJOURNMENT
As there was no further bus ness to come before the Council at this time it was moved
by Councilman Sullivan seconded by Councilman Lindsay that the meeting do now adjourn.

MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS SESSION
The minutes of March 21st were read in full an it was moved by Councilman Mueller secon,
by Councilman Lafferty that the minutes be approv d as read and that the Mayor & City Clerk
sign same. Upon roll call vote all councilmen pre ant voted in the affirmitive and motion
declared carried.
Approved bills as audited by the finance co ttee were presented and acted upon as

TEAR DOWN PERMIT
The following tear down permit was presented and acted upon as follows:

It was moved by Councilman Sullivan seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the tear down

MOVING PERMIT
The following moving permit was presented and acted upon as follows:

Communications were read from the Port Townsend Chamber of Commerce, Science, Literature
Art Club, Joy Land Company and the American Association of University Women, all approvil
as appo&ntment of a Planning Commission for the City of Port Townsend, Mayor Green, refer:

NEW & OLD BUSINESS
Councilman Lindsey reported on the Police Car Lights saying that 14r Bumgarner had infori
im that the City could buy the lights $10.00 cheaper than he could get them for. Mayor Or,
aid that it would have to wait until the New Police car arrived to see whether the money 1
e available or not. Mr. Byron Ruby talked before the Mayor & Council asking the Council ti
ive their consideration on the City Gravil pit property by turning over the property to tt
orth Beach Park. After some discussion it was the opinon of the Council that when the pro]
as no longer useful to the City for material, t':en they would give it serious considerati
n turning the area over the the North Beach Park.
