Citizens with signntures below are reouesting a street light at the corner of 14th and Gise
St. ",,a think a street light is necessary at this corner for the protection of the children
living in this area. There is a lot of fast traffic on this road at night and the nearest
light is on Sheridan Ave. The children coming home from moctings, otc., have to come down
this dnrk road at night. There is a lot of night parking in this aren find we think n street
light will neln stop this. Several attempts of vandalism and car theft have been made in thi:
neighborhood, and we feel a lack of a street light has been helping to encourage this.

The City Council of the City of Port Townsend met in regular session this 6th day of December 1960 at 7:3
PM in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Mayor Green presiding.
ROLL CALL
Officers and members present were as follows: Mayor Green, City Attorney Abraham, City Clerk Youngblood,
Councilmen Sullivan, Mueller, Lafferty, Steve, Siebenbaum, Lindsey, Johnson.

It was moved by Councilman Sullivan seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the building permits be granted

TEAR DOWN PERMIT
The follooing tear down permit was presented and acted upon as follows:
Ed Lake, Chicken Coop, 151X201, Frame, 916 Adams, to abide by Ord. No. 907.
It was moved by Councilman Lindsey seconded by Councilman Sullivan that the tear down permit be granted.

For the benefit of Christmas shoppers and to start the season's shopping the Retail Trade Committee of the
Chamber of Commerce respectfully request that you give free parking on the streets all day on the dated of
