Officers and members present were as follows: Tdayor Leirhton, City Attorney .Abraham, City

Mayor Leighton announced that the purpose of the meeting was for the consideration of the
ndget of the City of Port Townsend, as required by statuts and that no other business would
a considered at this meeting.
BUDGET CONSIDERATION

The Council considered each item of the budget, making changes as necessary, changes to be
onfirmed after full consideration.
CURRENT EX?ENSE FUND
No changes were made under General City Government, City Treasurer, City Clerk, City
ttorney. tinder Police Court, Clerk & Stenographer, was reduced from 150.00 to 50.00, under

eating & lighting fire hall, was reduced from 900.00 to 700.00, under Fire Department Capita
utlay, New radios & Base Station was reduced from 2,000.00 to 1,500.00. new fire hose was

After some discussion it was moved by Councilman 74ueller seconded by Councilman Siebenbsum
hat the changes in the Current Expense Fund be confirmed and that the Current Expence Fund
e adopted. Notion Carried.
OLYMPIC GRAVITY :WATER FUND
No changes were made under the Olympic Gravity V7nter Fund.
PORT TOC+1dSEND G+ARGAGE COLLECTION SERVICE
Noc changes weremnde under the Port Townsend Gabbage Collection Service.

PUBLIC LIBRARY FUND
No changes were made under the Public Library Fund.

It was moved by Councilman Steve seconded by Councilman Johnson that the Olympic Gravity
,!later Fund, Fort Townsend Garbage Collection Service Fund, & Public Library Fund budgets be

Under Salary, Caretaker, was raided from 3,600 to 3,720.00, under—.Social.Sociar-ity-Lavenage

It -was moved by Councilman stave seconded by Councilman Lindsey, that the changes in the

No changes were made under the City Street Fund.

No changes were made under Firemens Relief & Pension Fund.
PORT TOWNSEND GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS 1955, REDEMPTION FUND.
No changes were made under Port Townsend General Obligation Bonds 1955, Redemption Fund. r

PREPARATION OF ORDINANCES
It was moved by Councilman Mueller seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the City _Attorney
repare the necessary ordinances. Ul-on roll call vote all councilmen present voted in the
nffirmitive and motion declared carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Consideration and adoption of the Budget having been compledted, it was moved by Councilms k
