Councilman Mueller informed tide City Council that he --had contacted the property owners
n the brick buildings that had been destroyed by fire and both Sirs McCarter and Mrs Clark
idrich 'informed him that the clean up work mould start as soon as possible and hoped it
ould be cleaned up by _festivni time.
Mayor Leizaton said `hat in regards to Ili. Pnlmers letter that the building committee and
orself should meet with Mr. Palmer as soon as possible. City Attorney Abraham said he thougi
hat there visa some chance of it being resolved without any further city action, for lie had
een in tounh with the situation.
Councilmen L'.ndsey asked the City Attorney if ho would clieck on fire code ordinances that
o:lei pertain to third class cities of this size.

Councilman mueller reported that in regards to the letter from "r. Palmer, the legal
department of the City of Port Townsend felt t'.:nt they could handle it vary easily and cot

Councilmen Lindsey reported for the light committee for the renuest foe street lights e
