said in the past year the City council had granted the Historical Society permission to us,
the fire hall room . She said it was not in very good condition and thought that by appea:
before the Council and as long as the building was tax supported and the City was under

to clean the halls. She said that the Historical Sociedty was a volunteer organization
although they were set up in a legal manner under the state of Washington. :r:rs Davis said
that the Historical Society felt they rendered a very fine service to the coan!,unity and
they should have the support of the City Council. She said that last ,year over 3000.00
people visited the museum and had very fine reports of the condition of the exibits and
still felt that the City Council should see that the room was cleaned up. Councilman

if the Council could clean up this room that has been donated for the use of the Society o
if they would give the Historical Sociedty permission to solicit help or funds fro the

not have available funds.
