Liayor Leighton thanked Mr. Thompson and informed him that the City and City Council would
like to see the theatres open oven though there had been definit action taken on the theatre
in the form of an ordinance but wan sure the council would consider in the future the thentr
problem but at this time no further action could be taken.
City "ttorney Abraham informed the Mayor and Pork Board that the trailer situation at the
park was going to have to be solved in nomoway because there was no further provisions for
revenue from that source. He said n legal problem rrss becoming evident for there were still
trailers at the rark and the neonle oe+ninr the trailers wore entitled to notice and that
he would be happy to help the park board to prepare the necessary notices.
Mayor Loichton said that she would contact the park board immediatly.
ADJOURNVENT
As there was no further business to come before the Council at this time, it was moved
by Councilman Sullivan and seconded by Councilman Soibenbaum that the meeting adjourn, upon
roll call vote all six councilmen nresent voted in the affirnitive and motion carried.

the City of Port Townsend, Washington, met in regular session this
at 7:30 P.N. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Mayor
Leighton presiding.

MINUTES (F THE PREVIOUS SESSION
The minutes of the previous session were read in full and it was moved by Councilman i
Mueller and seconded by Cohncilman Siebenbaum that the minutes be approved as read and that '
the Yayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign same. Upon roll call vote all seven counc-
ilmen present voted in the affirmitive and motion carried.
BILLS AND CLAIMS i
Approved bills as audited by the Finance Committee for the month of December 1958, were
presented and read.

of some. Upon roll call vote all seven councilmen present voted
in the affirmitive
and motion carried.

It was moved by Councilman Sullivan and seconded by Councilmen Lafferty that the build
permits be granted upon roll call vote all seven councilmen present voted in the affirmit
and motion carried.

The following moving permit was presented and read:
Andrew Ellard, House 261X301, Frame, to location, Hastings Ave.
Councilman Sullivan informed the :.:ayor and Council that the building had aireddy been
moved and that in the future no building should be moved until passed by the Council.
Councilman Sullivan then moved that the moving permit be granted seconded by Councilman
Lindsey. Upon roll call vote all seven councilmen present voted in the affirmitive and
motion carried.
