be made in the location of the center line of the main water supply line to the City of Port

City Attorney Abraham commented that he did not have time to report to the committee on the
above ordinance and that it was brought up by Mr drake of Crown Zellerbach and that all knew
that Crown Zellerbach was charged with certain aspects of pipe line construction, and all
that it amounted to was to give the Appropriate City Officials the authority to reconvey
the old right of way back to the owners of the land on which it was located and that actuall
they were only trading the old right of way for the new right of way, and that the only way
it could be done would be to give the Mayor & City Clerk the authority to exicute a deed
granting the land back to the origional owners.
Councilman Siebenbsum commented that all it amounted to that it changed the line along
Taylor ranch and lords lake and that the old line ran over the hill and that the new line
shordend the entire pipe line.
City Attorney Abraham said that he would like to have the Council take action tonight for
there wns some hurry about the passage.
St_waAlmovsdiby Councilman Siebenbaum and seconded by Councilman Lindsey that the first
reading be opnsidered the second reading and that the third reading be by title only. Upon
