The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Waohington, met in regular session,thi
5th day of November, 1957, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Hell, i:iayor
3eorge Dangerter presiding.
ROLL CALL
Officers end members -.resent were as follows: Mayor George Bangerter, City (attorney
Abraham and City Cleric Ryan, and Councilmen Ellis, Mueller, 7.vory, Siebenbaun, Lindsey end
Sullivan. Councilmen Steve arrived during the reading of the min-utes of the previous
session and participated in the remainder of the meeting.
MII1UTES OF PREVIOUS SESSIO1i
The minutes of the previous session were read in full and it was moved by Councilman
Mueller and seconded by Councilman Ellis that the minutes be approved as read and that the
Mayor end City Clerk be authorized to sign same. Upon roll call vote all seven Councilmen
present voted in thebaffirmative end motion carried.
MOTiON TO SUSPEi'TD REGULAR ORDER OF BUS114ESS
It was moved by Councilman Si.ebenbaum and seconded by Councilman Sullivan that the
regular order of business be suspended so the Council could consider the Bids for furnish-
ing the City with 'Steel Pipe. Upon roll call vote all seven Councilmen present voted in
the affirmative n4id motion carried.
The Clerk informed the Council that he had recieved a special delivery bid at 5:55 P.
and and asked the Council+s wishes concerning the bid. It was moved by Councilman Steve an
seconded bj: Councilman Sulliven that the late bid be included with the others, Upon roll
call vote all sevenvCouncilmen present voted in the nffirmstive and motion carried.
