Dear Sirs:
On Tuesday, August 20, 1957, my niece, Mary Jane McPheeters, age 6, was visiting with
me in your city. About 11:00 oiclock in the morning, she was playing alone on the
merry-go-round ( to the right o$ the swings as you enter the pnrk)nsnd received a gash
on the back of her head. This was caused by one of the nuts used in bolting the merry-
I
go -round together. ( They are quite sharp. if you will Seel them.)
The park attendant took my name and address as well as that of my niece. He assured me
that the Park Board carries insurance and directed me to the Medical Building. Dr.
Brydges cleansed and dressed the wound. I have his receipt numbered 7071 in the amount
of 4,00 which I paid for his services.
F.
The perk attendant also gave me the name of Mrs. Lee Davis who has instructed me to
write to you. I trust that this will receive your early attention.
Yours truly,
Mrs. %.H. Ramquist
Tfter some discussion the above Communication was referred to the City Attorney and
i he Perk Board.
