UHFINNISHED AND NEW BUSINESS City Engineer Jones informed the Council that the Bid had been let for the 19th Street Sower 'roject to J.P. Y,vinsland, Contractor and that work should start next week. He also informed the Council that they had secured a good price bid, that the low; bid was €20,500.00 and the rant varied to a high of about Q3,400.00. He stated that enough � subscribers had signed up to insure a substantial refund after completion of the project. Councilman Steve told the Council that he thought it•would be a good idea to have an Ordinance ready for when the 19th Sevier is completed stating that anyone attaching on to tho Sewer after the City gains possession shall pny the same fee as as the, original subscribers. COUNCILMEN LINDSEY AND ELLTS ARRIVE Councilman Lindsey and Ellis arrived during the reading of the idinutes and partici- pated in the rest of the session. MINUTES 07 PREVIOUS SESSION The minutes of the previous session were road in full,and 1t was moved by Councilman Mueller and seconded by Councilman Siobenbaum that the minutes be approved as read and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to siEn some. Upon roll call vote all seven Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion carried. A-PPROV:- BILLS AND CLAIMS Ifter a brief discussion the claim for re-imbursoment of `y'125.00 for travel pay and expense at Fire School for regular Firemen Richard J. Smith and Eddie Lindsey, it was moved by Councilman • Steve and seconded by Councilman I:uollor that the claim be referred to the Tire and Light Committee. Upon roll call vote all seven Councilmen prounnt voted in the affirmative a,nd motion carried.
