ITo The City Councilmen
Dear Sirs:
I had a fall trying to step onto the sidewalk which is very high on corner of
Clay and Tyler St, it was very dark, and as I am quite heavy, I went down with a thud,
scuffed the sleeve of my coat sprained my arm, bruised myself, torn hosiery, and hurt myself
inwardly, spraining my back.
I have noticed there are a lot of high steps at the end of the sidewalks, there-
fore a few dollars spent may save many dollars.
Yours truly

City Clerk

Dear Mr. Christian:
Through you I wish to bring to the attention of the city council the fact that several
times I hava complained about stray dogs running loose on the school property --dogs that
are not licensed and are nothing but stray mongrels.
During the past year vie have had several youngsters bitten by these dogs, and in order to
free the district of any liability that might be involved should a lawsuit develop, I
again ask that something be done to relieve this matter of stray dogs in the town.
Sincerely yours,
W. H. Carder
