Gentlemen:-
s`,
I wish to apply for a lease from the City of Port Townsend for the property which is a
. b
continuance of Monroe St. between blocks four and five from Water St, to and including
the tide lands.
1
I wish to use this property for the storing of boats for rental.
aka
The City of Port Townsend would receive great benefit from this. With a little advertizing
a
showing how Port Townsend is stragetically located in the center of the Sport Salmon Fishing
Area, a greatly number of sportsmen would visit this city. They would use this city as
their headquarters for Salmon Fishing if they were assured that boats were available for a
k ,q
reasonable rental.
Respectfully,
Ralph W. Leyda
The foregoing communication was referred to the Street Committee for investigation and
w
report.
