Drown, and seconded by Councilman 16aroldo, that the City Clerk be instructed to write Yr. 17. A. Buggee, Jef_crson County Enginoer, requesting that he draw up a new project for installation of sidewalks by use of 'ii.P.A. labor. Motion carried. It was moved by Councilman I.:aroldo, and seconded by Councilman Sullivan, that the L:ayor be authorized to voucher Jefferson County Commissioners for the sum of money appropriated by said Corrmissione-s for the year 1939, for the purpose of obtaining side - appropriated adjacent to property owned by Jefferson County, Liotion carried. Re: Unsafe Sidewalks The ratter of the unsafe condition of the West portion of the sidewalk on the South side of eater Street, between Tyler & Polk Streets, was brought to the attention of the Council by Councilman Lewis, and after a discussion was referred to the Street Committee for investigation: and report.
