Section 27. It shall be unlawful for any unauthorized person to have and keep
in his possession or under his control any curb cock I:ey, valve key, or hydrant wrench
to the city water system, and the fact that .rater has been turned on after the same
has been shut off by tl:e Superintendent shall be and is prima facie evidence of the
ossession of a curb cock key, value key, Or hydrant wrench.
Section 28. The ':rater Superintendent, with consent of the City Council, is hereby
nutl:orized to ^_!cl:c special contracts for the use of crater in extraordinary cases when

Section C9. Any person violatinC any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall

the city jail for a t::rm not exceeding thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and

held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such holding shall not affect the validity of this

Section 32. That this ordinance bo published once in the Port Townsend Lender,
to be in force a::d take effect from and after January 1, 1940.
