The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, suet in regular session this
17th day of October, 1939, at 7:30 otclock, P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall,
Liayor Hirtzler presiding.
ROLL CALL
Upon roll call officers and members answered present as follows: Mayor H. L. Hirtzler,
City Attorney W. J. Daly, City Clerk C. F. Christian and Councilmen Dennis Sullivan; Fred G.
Lewis; J. F. Maraldo; C. E. Richards, Robt. W. Brown, and Wm. Lammers, Sr.

Finance Committee.

the fire alarm system airing, was presented and road as follows:

Dear Mr. Christian:
In accordance with your request we wish to advise you that the cost of replacing the circui
of your fire alarm system, the wire to be supplied by you, will be at a maximum $450.00
providing the scope of the work does not exceed that as shown by the attached black line
prints.
Phis will include as shown, the replacement of fire alarm circuits on Tyler, Lawrence, Monr
Roosevelt, Harrison, Benton and Jefferson and also the circuit on the street running to the
call box on the north side of the High School. This work as we mentioned above should :;ot
run over $450.00 and we will agree to do it when authorized by you within a reasonable peri
Of time.
In case vie do the work vie, of course, wish it understood that we will not be liable for any
damages w.-ich might result in the future from the failure of the fire alarm system.
