A letter from the State Department of Highways acknowledging receipt of copy of res-
olution relative to street surfacing program, and assigning project number, was read and
ordered filed.

A cormunication from Mr. H. A. Didriksen asking the transfer of the Pin Ball Game,

Operatorts License, hold by him, to the Olympic 11ovelty Co. was road, and upon recommendatio
of City Attorney Daly to that effect, formal action was withheld until such time as further
desired information could be obtained.
From Association of 'Nashington Cities
The receipt of a bulletin of the Association of Washington Cities entitled: "A Legis-
lative Review, 193911, was brought to the attention of the Council with the assurance that
it would be available to anyone interested, in the City Clorkfs office.
REQUISITIONS

A requisition for two tires and two tubes for the Water Departmentfs truck was pre-
sented, and upon motion by Councilman hlchards, seconded by Councilman Lammers, duly

carried, was granted.
UNFINISHED AND Uhir BUSINESS
Street Lease to Ywarsky
City Attorney Daly presented and read a tentative form of lease by the City to Mr. A.H.
Ywarsky of parts of certain streets for the purpose of removing gravel therefrom, inexchang`-
for gravel furnished the City.
It was thereupon moved by Councilman Robt. Brow!t, and seconded by Councilman Naroldo
that the City enter into an agreement with Ltr. Ywarsky in the form as presented by City
Attorney Daly, for a period of five years.
Upon roll call vote, all five Councilmen present voted in the affirmative "and the
'notion was declared carried.
Bids to furnish Wood
"
This being the time set for the opening of bids to furnish the City with 25 cords of
wood, the bid of Mr. F. 11. Lammers, being the only one tender•:d, was opened and read as
follows:

twenty five (25) cords of old growth wood, the undersigned submits the following bid of $5.7

It was moved by Councilman IMaroldo and seconded by Councilman Robt. Brown, that the bid
of Mr. F. H. Lammers be accepted, and upon roll call vote the four other Councilmen present
voted in the affirmative and the motion vies declared carried.
Re: "Hilsi.nger Place" Drainage
Councilman Robt. Brown reported that the City Street Department had done everything
possible within their jurisdiction to eliminate the condition caused by the excess overflow
from the septic tank at the "Hilsinger Place," but that further corrective action upon the
part of the owner of the property would be necessary.
City Attorney Daly reported that L;r. K. 0, Erickson, the eviner, was expected to be in
Port Townsend within the next day or two, and that the matter would be placed before him at
that time.
