The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Port 'Townsend, Washington, met in regular (special)
session this 14th day of February, 1939, at 7:30 o'clock, P.M., in the Council Chambers of
the City Hall, Mayor Hirtzler presiding.
ROLL CALL
Upon Roll Call, officers and members answering present were as follows: Mayor, H.L.
Hirtzler, City Attorney, 71. J. Daly, City Clark, C. P. Christian, and Councilmen, J.F.
Maroldo, Clarence E. Richards, Robt. V1. Brown, William Lammers, Sr., Dennis Sullivan, and
Phillip Brown; Councilman Fred G. Lewis arrived later in the session.
UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSIPIESS
Inasmuch as there were matters for consideration carried over from the last regular
meeting, the Yayor stated that the meeting would proceed immediately to unfinished and new
business.
Councilman Lewis Arrives
Councilman Lewis arrived at this time and took his seat in the Council.
Tire Quotations
In the ratter of ouotations on tires for the Adams Grader which had boon carried over i
the last regular session because of difference in basis of quotations, the bids as resubmitt
opened and read to the Council at this time, as follows:
