Co. relative to the expiration of the present contract for Liquid Chlorine and offering a further renewal form for the ensuing year was presented and read; and upon confirmation by the City Clerk of the new agreement being identical in each and every part with the expiring contract, it was moved by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilman DeLeo thbt the Mayor be iempowered to sign the said contract. Hirtzler, City Attorney W.J. Daly, City Clerk C.F. Christian, and Councilmen R.E. Ammeter, Peter J. Naughton, and W.S. Lafferjy; which being thm less than nr four Councilmen present, the legal Quorum, no meeting could be held. City 9ttorney '11..J(Daly stated that inasmuch as this was the last regular of the year 1938, and that the business for the fiscal year should be taken care of insofar as possible before starting on the now year 1939, the meeting should be adjourned to Tuesday, December 27th, at the regular hour; and that the City Clerk send written notice to that bffect to each Councilman.
