On August 2nd, 1938, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., there were present at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Port 'Townsend, for the purpose of holding a regular session of the City Council, the following officers and members, to -wit: Mayor H. L. Hirtzler, City Attorney W. J. Daly, City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Counci. men Fred G. Lewis, Peter Naughton and W. S. Lafferty, which being less than four councilmen present, the legal quorum, no session could be held. Acting under authority granted by Section 11, Chapter 184, Session Laws of 1915, the councilmen present unanimously agreed to adjourn the meeting to Thursday evening August 4th at 8:00 o'clock P.M., and it was ordered that the City Clerk send written notice to that effect to each of the absentee councilmen. L. Hirtzler presiding. ROLL CALL. Upon Roll Call, those amswering present were Mayor H. L. Hirtzler, City Attorney W. J. Daly, City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilmen 1.7. S. Lafferty, Fred G. Lewis, Peter Naughton and Robert W. Brown. Councilman Tony DeLeo arrived during reading of the minute and thereafter took part in the proceedings of the council. MINUTES APPROVED. The minutes of the regular session bf July 19, 1938, were read and approved as read. BILLS',AND-CLAIMS. Approved Bills.
