THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND DO ORDAIIQ AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. that a part of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1036 of the City of Port Townson

Motor vehicles contemplated to be licensed hereunder are hereby classified as follows: ; v
FOR HIRE CAR: Shall mean any automobile, taxicab, or other motor vehicle operated for
the purpose of carrying passengers for hire which is located at and rented for hire which is
located at and rented from a fixed and designated place in the city, where the time, route
and destination are indicated and controlled by the passengers. This classification shall
include all motor vehicles operated from any point within or without the city, or from point
outside of the city to points within the city. ✓ 4 a y .+
The license fee for such a vehicle shall be the sum of $5.00 per annum, or any part
thereof, PROVIDED HOWEVER, that no license therefor shall be granted until application in j
writing has been approved by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend.
Section 2. That this ordinance be published once in the Port Townsend Leader to be in �• ,' , `�
