UNFINISHED AND IMI BUSINESS.
Proposed Water Main Extensions.
Bringing up the matter of extending certain motor mains, hater Supt. Lockhart,
recommended that the 4" main on Hastings Avenue be extended approximately 1500 feet to take
care of present and prosnoctive patrons, as the present consumers are poorly served, and
that the nevi consumers to be secured would milks it n paying propositions from the start.
Mr. Lockhart also proposed that a business survey and investigation be made of installation,
of a pipe line to supply the Chimacum corners district, inasmuch as the city had both the
water and the funds available to make the extension from the present Hadlock-Irondale line.
The said matters were referred to the 'later Committee for investigation and report.
Outlet from "E" Street.
The matter of opening up a new street, extending from "E" Street to Van Ness at.,

the street leading west fro:: the "lest gate of Fort Florden, in exchange for improvements he
would make on certain other streets. After the matter had been discussed, a motion by
councilman Sather and seconded by Councilman Brown, that the City Attorney and the Engineer
be requested to ascertain if the street in question had been duly dedicated as a street, an
