BUILDING PERMIT. From C. C. Palmer. Application from C. C. Palmer, for building permit, was presentee and read, as follows: Port Townsend, Washington, October 25, 1937. To the Honorable Mayor and City Council, Port Tovmsend, Washington. Gentlemen: Permission is requested to erect a frame barn on my premises, Block 247, Eisen- beis Addition, at an estimated coat of 550.00 for material. Respectfully submitted, C. C. Palmer. It was moved by Councilman Brown and seconded by Councilman Ammeter that the said per- mit be granted. Motion declared carried. 0OMMUNICATIONS. Circular Letters concerning the following subjects, were presented, to -wit: From Department of Labor and Industries; advising that a public hearing would be held i�lympla, on ovem er r , , relative to establishment of standards of safe ty for the prevention of occupational diseases. REgUISITIONS. City Street Department: The Street Department presented a requisition for: 1 bbl Motor oil, No. 30. It visa moved by Councilman Naughton and seconded by Councilman Brown that the said requisition be granted. Motion declared carried Ordinances and Resolutions. The Emergency Ordinance appropriating additional funds for street maintenance for the remainder of of the year 1937, which ordinance was submitted at the previous "ses- t.°t> sion of the Council and read in full for the first reading, was now taken up for further consideration and was again read in full for the second reading. gq eY e; 3rd Reading by Title: i, at. .
