GENERAL BUDGET, The .General Budget for the city was next taken up, and read in full for the first reading. It was moved by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilman Brown that the first reading be considered the second reading bed that the thii`d reading be by title only. The ordinance making and fixing the tax levy for the ensuing year was next taken up and read in full by the City Clerk, for the first reading. It was moved by Councilman Naughton abd seconded by Councilman Brown that the first reading be considered the second reading and that the third reading be by title only.
