L. Hirtzler, Mayor ! C. F. Christian, City Clark. , Emergency Appropriation Ordinance To Purchase Truck for water Dept. I! Pursuant to direction by the City Council, City Attorney Daly submitted a proposed I emergency appropriation ordinance, which the City Clark read in full, as follows: ORDINANCE 140. AN ORDINANCE providing for the immediate appropriation of money upon the Olympic Gravit li Pater Works Fund of the City of Port Townsend for the year 1937 for the purpose of paying and discharging the purchase price of a "pick-up" truck for the use of the Plater Department ` of said city and declaring an emergency. II Whereas, it appears to the City Council of the City of Port Townsend that the pick-up truck no- used by the Slater Lepartment of this city is in such a`state and condition that i would be unwise and financially inadvisable to further expand money thereon in it s repair, anf that a new truck should now be purchased, and Whereas, the condition of said truck was not apparent to the City Council of the City of Port Townsend at the time of the adoption of the official budget for the Water Depart- ment for the year 1937, and, Whereas, an emergency now exists for the immediate appropriation of money from said fund for the purchase of said truck, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TUNNS'LIH) DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
