Motion declared carried. Morrison Application. It was moved by Councilman Hirtzler and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the Morrison application be granted, contingent upon completing the removal of the building within 30 days and malting a deposit of $5.00, to insure cleaning up the rubbish. Gentlemen: - Permission is hereby`.adked to construct an addition to the rear of the E.S.Hanse grocery store, one story, about ten by twenty feet, concrete floor, on level with the store, with 'ironclad sides and roof, to cost approximately two hundred dollars ($200.00). REQUISITIONS. For City Hall Department. Requisition was submitted by Roy Seavey for the City Hall Department, for 1 stove, for Jail. It visa moved by Councilman Naughton and seconded by Councilman Hirtzler that the said requisition be granted. Motion declared carried. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS. Ordinance to changebounds* ;between First and Third Wards. An Ordinance to change the boundary between the 1st and 3rd yards vise presented by conmcunication from City Attorney V1. J. Daly, the communication and proposed ordinance being as follows: Daly Communication: Port Townsend, Washington, September 1st, 1936 Honorable Mayor and City Council, City of Port Townsend, Wash. Gentlemen:- fr. II. E. Anderson,.County Auditor.and ex-officio Clerk of the Jefferson County Election Board has informed me that lie experienced considerable difficulty in finding a suitable place to accommodate the voters of the 3rd precinct of the City of Port Townsend in the matter of casting their votes at the coming September primary. The community kitchen ajr Chetzemoka Park visa finally selected, but that location was not so very 9avorably receive by the electorate of that precinct. The attached proposed ordinance will pormit the establishment of the third precine polling place in the Old Central High School Building, and will not change, in a single par- ticu]mr, the voting facility of a single citizen, but on the contrary should aid the majori- ty. Bear in mind the passage of this ordinance will not change the polling place for t September primary, to -writ: Chetzemoka Park, but will permit a change for the General Electio in November. AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Townsend, amending Ordinance No. 1034, entitled "An Ordinance dividing the City of Port Townsend into yards and repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith" passed by the City Council November 18, 1933; approved by the Mayor No- vember 28, 1933. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT T0WNSEND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Section 1 of said Ordinance No. 1034 be, and the same is hereby, amended in the following particular: That the designated area known as the FIRST WARD is herebyllessoned and the area of the THIRD WARD is hereby increased by the addition to the THIRD HARD of Block 136, of the Original Townsite of the City oil Port Townsend. Section 2. That this ordinance be published once in the Port Townsend Leader and to be in force and take effect as provided by law.
