City Attorney Daly reported that he had replied to the inquiry of the Woodmen of the ',Yorld relative to the 1911 issue of defaulted bonds, the gist of his report being that he recommended that the 17oodmen send their officers or other representatives to make a per- sonol survey of the situation. BROOKS AND WALDROP PERMIT. Councilman Hhrtzler, Chairman of the Building Committee, reporting on the Brooks and 14raldrip application, stated that the Committee was not in full agreement in the matter .. and therefore, no definite recommendation could be made. Councilmen Sather, Lafferty end '- Lammers spoke in opposition to the application to build an entrance to the second story of building from the 'Taylor Street terrace but were not opposed to the changes desired in the front of the building. Permit Granted to Remodel Front. Ater some further dissuasion, it was moved that the R_? application to remodel the front of the building be granted, as requested, but that the re- quest to build a sidewalk entrance to the building from the Taylor Street terrace be denied. "r;' Motion declared carried. BUILDING PERMITS. Applications for Building Permits were presented, read, and disposed of as follows: From D. E.
