Hamilton addressed the Council concerning a tap on property now owned by him, which tap had orginally been placed and paid for. by Mr. R. W. Scott. After discussion concerning this tap it was the consensus of the City Council that the controversy was purel personal between the parties and not the present concern of the City of Port TO;nsend. American Legion Rhododendron Festival Paul DeChamplain of the local post of The American Legion, and John T. Hunt, Esq., addressed the council on behalf of the American Legion Rhododendron Day Festival, and urged active participation therein. It was the consensus of the various councilmen and Mayor that the Festival day planned was entirely worthy and should receive the Support of all citizens. ADJOURNMENT Upon motion by Councilman Sather, seconded by Councilman Naughton, the council at the hour of 9:17 P.M., adjourned. The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Port Townsend, Washington,met in regular session this 7th day of April, 1936, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of. the City Hall, Mayor George Bangerter presiding. ROLL CALL. Upon Roll Call there were present Mayor George Bangerter, City Attorney 71.J Daly, City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilmen H. L. Hirtzler, Sam McGee, 77. S. Lafferty, 71m.
