Mrs. H. Crouten Betz Port Townsend, wash. Feb. 5, 1936. Honorable Mayor and City Council, Port Townsend, wash. Dear Sir: On Feb. 4th 1936 the city water was shut off in my home all day, without first notifying me of the act. As my water bill has always been paid up in advance, we want to know just what the trouble is. I asked at the City Hall and was =fxxxdxhm referred to other office. I could not get in touch with any one, so asked party at counter if they would report condition and send head of department to my home to correct conditions. No one called, so we were without water all day. The same annoying act was committed Oct. 11, 1934, without cause, and as my brother was a very ill man, at the time, it caused us a great deal of hardship. 77e would likif to receive a reply to this letter, as we are at a loss to unders%and your - methods and conduct to your citizens. Please investigate at once. Mrs. H. Crouten Betz 916 Plashington St. Tap Number 206 77ater Superintendent Green reported that the water was turned off accidently and the mistake speedily rem@died.
