Chief of Police November Report.
The Report of the Chief of Police for the month of November, 1935, was presented, read,
and ordereld filed.
Councilman H. L. Hirtzler arrived at this time and took his seat in the Council.
Main Line meter Readings.
The reports of the Water Superintendent showing the flog
of Water through the Main Line Meters for the period ending November 30, were presented, re ,
and ordered filed.
Plans and Spa cirications Mailed.
The City Cleric reported that n total of 12 sets
of plans and specifications for the water works project, including those sent to firma hand
ling material and supplies, had been mailed out to date.
Pan -Co -Vesta Building Sold.
City Attorney Daly reported that Mrs. Inez 0. Harned
had given the County a bill -of -sale to the old pan -co -vests building; that the County had
sold the same to W. A. Myers and that the said building would be torn down and removed.
Damage to Guard Rails. Councilman DeLeo now arrived and took his seat.
Councilman Lafferty brought up the matter of damage to the guard rail on
the Olympic Highway acr6ss the flats and stated his conviction that those responsible for
the said damage should be made. -.to pay the coats of repairs.
After some discussion, it was moved by Councilman Hirtzler and seconded by Councilman
DeLeo that bills covering the coats of repairs should be mailed to the parties causing the
said damages. Motion declared carried.

Septic Tank Report.
Councilman Naughton reported that the condition created by the flo
from a septic tank or cesspool in the vicinity o$ Fir and Maple streets had not been remedi c
and that if something was not done, property owners in that vicinity would lose their tenan ,
It appearing that the Health officer had twice notified the offending people, the City Atty
suggested: that the Chief of Police give them notice.
It was then moved by Councilman Hirtzler and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the
Chief of Police be instructed to notify the owners of the septic tank to abate the condi-
tions complained of. Motion declared carried.
BUILDING PERMITS.
Applications for Building Permits were presented, read, and disposed of as follows:

The City Clerk reported receipt of a circular letter from J. D. Adams Company, an-
nouncing the appointment of the Howard -Cooper Corporation as their northwest agents.

It was moved by Councilman Naughton and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the said

With reference to the pending emergency ordinance, it was moved by Councilman //B
