This is to make application to build a partition to be sealed with plaster
board across the back wall of my brick building No. 236 Taylor Street, Port Townsend, Wash-
ington, and repair brick wall.

It was moved by Councilman Hirtzler and seconded by Councilman DeLeo that the said
permits be granted. Motion declared carried.
Application to move building.

To the Honorable Mayor and City Council,
Port Townsend, Wash.
Gentlemen: -
Permission is requested for the privilege of moving a small dwelling house no
siauated on Block 46, to a location on Lot 4, Block 42, Eisenbeis Addition. The moving
will be done in a workmanlike mahner and it is estimated that the total time taken for the
actual crossing of the street will not exceed one hour.

It was moved by Councilman Hirtzler and seconded by Councilman Naughton that the said.j,
permit be granted. Motion declared carried.
REQUISITIONS.
Clerk for License Plates:
The City Cleric presented a requisition for the following
license plates and supplies, for 1936, to -wit:
Plates for trucks and "for hire" cars.
Plates for"Ltarble" or "Pin" games.
Dog license tags.
License forms as may be required.
It was moved by Councilman Hirtzler and seconded by Councilman McGee that the said
requisitionr,be granted. Motion declared carried.
ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS. '
Emergency Ordinance deferred.
In relation to the emergency ordinance (to appropriate
additional funds for the Fire and Street Departments) introduced and read in full at the

last regular session, it was moved by Councilman Naughton and seconded by Councilman Hirtz-
ler that consideration of the said ordinance be deferred to the next regular session.
Motion declared carried on a viva vase vote, Councilman McGee voting against the motion.

the Mayor, requesting that a special fund be set up to take care of the proposed expendi-

preparatory to the filing of your grant requisition for an advance of Federal

funds to aid in financing the construction of additions and betterments to, and replace-
ments of, the existing municipal waterworks system of the City of Port Townsend, Washington

we are asking that preliminary steps be taken to complete our financial record. We desire
ish rt
to complete these proceedings concerning the construction funds available and the depositor
as soon as conveniently possible. The applicant should therefore prepare:
1. An original and three copies of P.W.R.F Form 104 (Certificate Concerning Funds, Per
mats and No -Litigation), the applicant's attorney signing the original and three copies.
2. Our records indicate that the applicant will have available, to finance its portion
of the cost of the project, funds in the amount of $34,500.(?) Therefore an original signs
and three signed copies of a dated certificate should be prepared by the applicant's Finan-

cial Officer showing that these funds are available and the amount thereof have already bee
set up by the applicant and/or will be set up in a separate construction account or account

called the in a bank or banks which are members of the Federal

Reserve System and or the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and that such funds may be

drawn against as the applicant's share of the cost of the project. The establishment of
this fund is required by Section 9 of the General Conditions of P.W.A. Form 179 dated July
22, 1935.
3. The applicant should also obtain a signed original and three signed copies of a let
ter from the depositary bank which in substance should state as follows:
We advise that we will accept deposits by the and will at all

The applicant will retain one copy of each of the foregoing documents for his files and f

By Resolution.
pursuant to the foregoing request, City Attorney Daky prepared and presented the
following resolution, to -wit:

WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City Council of the City of Port Town-
send that before the filing of a grant requisition by said City for an advance of federal
funds to aid in financing the construction of additions and betterments to, and replacements

Port Townsend have available to finance its portion of the project, funds in the amount of

transfer from the funds now in her hands in the Olympic Gravity Plater System fund, to a fund

to be known and designated as "Olympic Gravity Water System Construction Fund," the sum of
$34,100.00 and that a separate account under said latter designation be immediately opened
up by said City Treasurer in the First American National Bank of Port Townsend, Port Tovrnsex
Washington.

It was moved by Councilman Hirtzler and seconded by Councilman
Naughton that the said resolution be adopted. Upon Roll Call vote, all five Councilmen
present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
