Considerable discussion followed but as there was no second to the motion, no action was taken. fi'xct ' Pipe Line at Little Cluilcene hiver. PT-1 ixd-�3Y•1 City Engineer Campbell brought up the matter of the condition of the water transmission gb^•xs{z' ' line at the Little quileene River, reporting that certain maintenance was necessary for the safety of the line, and stated that if such repairs were made at present, the cost would approximate 9'300.00, while if left until some damage actually occurred during the minter months and during high •:rater, the cost might exceed .$1500.00. He suggested that to in- '"%$�,. ,• sure the safety of the pipe line, that a proposal be made to the National Psner Products Co that the said repairs be made at an early date, the City and the Paper Company to share the g the costs under the same terms as agreed upon for repairs to the headworks dam. To Present Proposal to National Paper Products Co. It was moved by Councilman Hirtzler and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the City Engineer be authorized to take up the, matter of the said repairs at the Little C}uil- cene river, with the National Paper Products Co.,on a proposal to share the costs on a 50-50 basis. Upon Roll Call vote, Councilmen Hirtzler, McGee, DeLeo, Lafferty and Lamm voted in the affirmative and Councilman Naughton in the negative, notion declared carri Adjournment.
