CIM ENGINEER REPORTS.
Application to Olympia:
City Engineer Campbell reported that the Application to the
Federal Government for a grant in aid of the reconstruction of water system had been duly
completed and that he had personally delivered the same to Mr. Hoffman of the Public 'Nlorks
Administration within the time limit.
Repairs to Headwor•ks Dam:
The Engineer further reported that work on repairs to the
headworks dam would start tomorrow. --

Election. Batters:
In the matter of the coming special electim , City Attorney Daly
reported that he had suggested to County Auditor Anderson that the election notices be type-
written instead of printed, to cut down coats, but that the County Auditor preferred the
printed notices. 1Lr. Daly presented figures showing that there must be approximately 650
votes cast at the special election to validate the election, or more than 100 in excess of
the vote cast at the last special election.
