The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, met in regular session this 4th day of June, 1935, at 8 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Council man WM. Lammers, Mayor pro tem. prdsiding until the arrival of Mayor Bangerter. 11 ROLL CALL. f 1 Upon Roll Call there were present City Attorney W. J. Daly, City Clerk CF. Christian, and Councilmen W. S. Lafferty, Wm. Lammers Sr., Paul H. Sather,. H. L. Hirtzler, Sam McGee, Tony DeLeo and Peter Naughton; Mayor Bangerter arriving later in the session, 1 MINUTES READ AND APPROVED. The minutes of the regular session of May 28/35 were read and approved as read. Mayor George Bangerter arrived at this time and thereafter presided. BILLS AND CLAIMS. 'J 1 Approved Bills. Books 10.95 I', Lussier Jewelry Repair clock 1.50 Total ................................. 14.97 It was moved by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilman Lammers that the said CI claims be allowed and that the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to draw warrants up- on the proper funds in payment of same. Upon roll call vote, Councilmen Lafferty, Lammers Sather, Hirtzler, DeLeo and Naughton voted in the affirmative and Councilman McGee in the negative. Motion declared carried. REPORTS OF OFFICERS. Re: Sales Tax. This bill was approved by the Governor on Liar. 11, 1935, and as I understand it, will become effective June 13, 1935.
