COMYUNICATIONS.
From Public Health Service, Re: Street repair.
Communication from Dr. Spencer, Public Health Service, was presented and read,
as follows;
Port Townsend, Washington, ';arch 30, 1935.
City Council,
Port Tarnsend, Washington.
Dear Sirs: -
Under the contract 8or the construction of the now Quarsntine Station at Point
Hudson arrangements have been made for a portion of the required fill at the intersection
of Jefferson and Jackson Streets. The approach to the entrance to the Station will requir
grading and surfacing aside from that provided in the contract.
It will be greatly appreciated if the City of Port Townsend is able to make ar-
rangements for improving the approach from ?,:onroe Street to the entrance. At the present
time that portion of Jefferson Street from Monroe to Jackson is rather hazardous for trucjts
especially in wet weather.
Yours very truly,
H. A. Spencer, Surgeon,
Medical Officer in Charge.
The foregoing communication was referred to the Street Committee.
