UNFINISHED AND NI"N BUSINESS.
Repair man for Water Works.
To officially confLrm the provision for a repair man in the Water +)epartment bud-
get adopted for 1935, it was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Laffor
that the employment of such a workman be authorized by the Council and that the City Clerk
be and hereby is authorized to draw such monthly salary warrants as they become due.
Motion declared carried.
Jones & Crouten Delinquent License.
Councilman Lammers also brought up the matter of
unpaid Plumbing License of the firm of Jones & Crouten for the last year they were conduct-
ing a plumbing business and also for an undetermined period prior to November 1st, 1932,
and moved that the City Clark prepare a bill for one your's plumbing license duo the city
from the said firm of Jones F; Crouten and present same to the assignees or trustees for the
said firm. The motion was seconded by Councilman Hirtzler and upon a call for the questicr
the motion was declared carried.
Advertise for Gasoline Bids.
It A'a9 moved by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Cou -
cilman Hirtzler that the City Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for furnishing the
city with gasoline for the coming ,year; said bids to be opened at the regular session of
January 22nd. Motion declared carried.
Recess.
It was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Naughton that
the Council recess for a few minutes. Motion carried and recess declared.
Council reconvenes and Roll Call.
The Council reconvened at 9:15 P.7,% and upon Roll Call there were present Mayor
George Bangerter, City Attorney 4'. J. Daly, City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilmen
H. L. Hirtzler, Sam McGee, Peter Naughton, Tony DeLeo, W. S. Lafferty sod Wm. Lammers Sr.
Plan to Purchase Grader.
It was moved by Councilman DeLeo and seconded by Councilman
Naughton, that the city take steps toward purchasing a grader for the Street Department.
Motion declared carried.
Adjournment.
Upon motion of Councilman Hirtzler, seconded by Councilman Lafferty,
Council voted to adjourn.

CITY ATTORNEY.

Damage to Pipe Line.
City Attorney Daly stated for the information of the Council
that he had been advised by Mr. D. Earl Baker of the National Paper Products Company, that
the severe freeze thaw
and subsequent and rains had caused considerable damage to the wate
`
pipe line from the Big Quileene,River, there being numerous slides and some of the pipe wa
carried away, and that flood conditions were serious.
Mayor Bangerter arrived at this time and thereafter presided.

The City Clerk reported that he had issued warrants, since the last
