Requisitions granted. It was moved by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilman Imith that the said requisitions be granted. Upon Roll Call, all five councilmen present 'oted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTI0NS. Amendment to 2nd Hand License Ordinance. Pursuant to direction by the City Council, City Attorney W. J. Daly submitted a: proposed ordinance:,to reduce the license fee for�2nd hand businesses from $25.00 to $10.00 per year, which j)roposed ordinance was entitled An Ordinance of the City of Port Townsend providing for and fixing the annual license fee of second hand dealers, junk dealers and pawnbrokers, and amending Ordinance No. 873 entitled "An Ordinance to license and regulate second hand dealers, junk dealers and pawnbrokers in the City of Port Townsend, Washington and providing a penalty for the violation thereof, and repealing Ordinance No. 855 for all dealers, amending the same." Said proposed ordinance was read in full for the first reading, whereupon it was move by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilman Smith that the first reading be consideri d the second reading and that the third reading be by title only. Upon Roll Call vote, all five councilmen present voted in favor thereof and motion was declared carried. Third Reading and Passage. The City Clerk then read the said ordinance by title only for the third reading and it was moved by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilman Smith that said ordinance do now pass. Upon Roll Call, all five councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried. Copy of Ordinance. The following is a full, true and correct copy of said Ordinance No. 1047 as passed by the City Council November 6th, 1934, approved by the Mayor November 6th, 1934 and published in the Port Townsend Leader November 8th, 1934, to -wit: ORDINANCE NO. 1047. On Ordinance of the City of Port Townsend, providing for and fixing the annual license fee of second hand dealers, junk dealers and pawnbrokers, and amending Ordinance No. 873 entitled, "An "rdinance to license and regulate second hand dealers, junk dealers and pawn brokers in the City of Port Townsend, :Washington, and providing a penalty for the violatio thereof, and repealitg7,Ordinance No. 855 for all dealers, amending the same." THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOINNSEND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance 873 be, and the same is, hereby amended to rea as follows: Every second hand dealer and every junk dealer and every pawnbroker shall, before doi g any business in the City of Port Townsend, obtain a license so to do, for which he shall pay $10.00 per annum; provided, however, that the same person, firm or corporation named may engage in any number, or all three of said lines of business, by paying the sum of "!;:',.' $10.00 per annum for each line so engaged in. Section 2. That this ordinance be published once in the Port Townsend Leader and be in force and take affect five days after such publication. Mayor pro tem, Councilman Lammers/brought up the matter of interes coupons for the refund bonds now in default as to the principal, and it was moved by Counr, Gilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilmen Smith that the City Clerk proceed to have cou- pons printed, representing the interest due January let, 1935, on Refund Bonds, let Issue, due July let, 1931.
