MINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION OF OCTOBER 2nd
PORT TOWNSEND, WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 2nd, 1934.
THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
Port Townsend, Washington,
met in regular session thi
2nd day of October, 1934, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall,

ROLL CALL:
Upon Roll Call there were present City Attorney W. J. Daly, City Clerk
C. F. Christian, and Councilmen Wm. Lammers Sr., George Welch,
Sam McGee, W. B. Smith, and
W. S. Lafferty; Mayor Bangerter and Councilman Sather arriving
later in the session.
MINUTES APPROVED:
It was moved
by Councilman Welch and seconded by Councilman Laffer
ty that the minutes of the regular session of September 25/34 be approved as written.

said claims be allowed
and that the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to drip
warrants
upon the proper funds
in payment of same. Upon Roll call vote, all

voted in the affirmative
and motion was declared carried.

Your Committee, on Water and Drainage, to whom was referred the matter of
Water Supt's report for the month of August, 1934, would respectfully report as follows:

Hastings Avenue Pipe.
Relative to the application of three residents along Hastings Ave.,
for City water service, Councilman Lammers stated that he had heard a report that the ap-
plicants had d-oided to furnish and lay a pipe line to their property without city aid.
Zigzag and Paint Job.
Councilmen Welch reported that he had requested experienced men to
make estimates on the City Hall Painting and Quincy St, zigzag projects and hoped to have
definite figures for the next council meeting.
All of said matters were left in the hands of the Committees for further report.
Councilman Sather arrived at this time ans took his seat in the Council.
Little Reservoir:
Councilman Smith inquired of City Water Supt. Green as to the conditio
of the small reservoir and Mr. Green reported that while there was no further leak where
€1, the canvass had been applied, there was still a small leak of undetermined source. Also
that there was no water in the reservoir at present.

Applications for Building Permits were presented, read, and disposed of as Follows:
