(Requisitions continued)
Councilman Lafferty stated that a!blow-out.:had*occurred in the old tire and that it
was beyond repair and that to prevent laying up the truck until the Council met, he had
signed 6he said requisition, that the tire had been purchased and that the truck was back
in service with little lost time. It was moved by Councilman Welch and seconded by Coun
cilman Sather that the requisition be granted. Motion declared carried.
For the City Clerk's Office, to -wit:
Various Budget forms, if needed. 6 - small rubberrstamps for sundry funds.
100 - 2¢ Stamped envelopes, #13. 25 - 2d stamped envelopes, #8 size.
50 - Dog Tags 1 - ribbon for adding machine
Pencil tablets for rough notes of Council meetings
It was moved by Councilman Welch and seconded by Councilman Sather that the said requ
sition be granted. Motion declared carried.
UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS.
Insurance on Motor Vehicles. '
The City Clerk informed the Council that the insurance
on the grader and truck of the Street Dept., and the Truck of the Water Dept., would ex-
pire in July, the insurance in force being placed as follows: Fire only, on the Russell
grader, Fire and Public Liability on the Chevrolet dump truck, and Fire and Public Liabili
ty on the Slater Dept. Ford 'Truck. It was moved by Councilman Sather and seconded by Coun
cilman Smith that the said insurance be renewed and that the agencies now writing the said
insurance should be so notified.
Fort Worden Water Contract.
Formal notice of extension of the water supply contract
with Fort Worden for another year, was submitted by the quartermaster at Fort Worden, the
same being in accordance with the terms of the said contract, and it was moved by Council-
man Welch and seconded by Councilman Sather that the Mayor be authorized to sign the same,
on behalf of the city. Motion declared carried.
Unpaid Water Bills.
Councilman Smith commented on the large number of delinquent
water accounts but no action visa taken by the Council in the matter.
ADJOURNMENT.
It was moved by Councilman Smith and seconded by Councilman Welch that
the Council do now adjourn. Motion declared carried.
